What do you need for a campout?

  • Your Sleeping bag, along with a sleeping pad..
  • A flashlight.
  • A chair, if you have one.
  • A few changes of clothes.
  • If it's going to be cold, bring a jacket/sweater, if it's going to rain, bring a waterproof jacket/hoodie.
  • Sunscreen and/or insect repellent, depending on the weather.
  • A day pack, with a water bottle.
  • Shoes suited for the terrain you'll be hiking on.
  • First-aid kit.
  • Toothbrush and toothpaste.
